Delete your Crypto Gameplan account

This page lets you delete your Crypto Gameplan account and the data attached to it. It works whether or not you still have the app installed, and whether or not you can still sign in.

Developer: Crypto Gameplan

The fastest way: delete it yourself

If you can still sign in, deleting the account from your settings is immediate and needs no waiting on us.

  1. Open the app or sign in on the web.
  2. Go to Settings → Security → Danger Zone.
  3. Choose Delete account and type your email address to confirm.

Can't sign in? Request deletion here

Enter the email address of the account. We'll send a confirmation link to that address — this is how we make sure only you can delete your account. Submitting the form on its own deletes nothing.

Before you start

  • If two-factor authentication is switched on for your account, the form below cannot delete it — an emailed confirmation would be a weaker check than signing in. Sign in with your authenticator and use Settings → Security → Danger Zone instead. Lost your authenticator? Write to [email protected] and we will handle it.
  • If you are the only administrator on the account, promote another user to administrator first — the deletion is refused otherwise, so the workspace cannot be left without an owner.

What gets deleted

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. The following is removed across every Crypto Gameplan service:

  • Your name, email address and profile picture
  • Your phone number, postal address, country and timezone
  • All active sessions and sign-in credentials, on every device
  • Two-factor authentication settings and recovery data
  • Your course progress, quiz results and certificates in Campus
  • Your portfolio, watchlists, alerts and indicator settings in Terminal
  • Your support tickets and their attachments
  • Your notification and email preferences
  • Your registered mobile devices and push tokens
  • Your Telegram link, where one exists

What we have to keep, and for how long

We are legally required to keep certain financial records, and deleting your account does not override that. What we do instead is remove your identity from them: your name and email address are replaced with a meaningless reference, so the invoice still exists for the tax authorities but no longer points to you.

WhatHow longLegal basis
Accounting books, annual accounts and the records needed to understand them10 years§ 147 (1) no. 1 AO · § 257 (1) no. 1 HGB
Invoices and booking vouchers covering payments you made or received8 years§ 147 (1) no. 4 AO · § 257 (1) no. 4 HGB · § 14b (1) UStG
Contract documents and business correspondence about a commercial transaction6 years§ 147 (1) no. 2, 3 AO · § 257 (1) no. 2, 3 HGB

Each period starts at the end of the calendar year in which the record was created, as required by § 147 (4) AO. Once it runs out, the record is deleted.
